Earth's "Original" Dragon Balls - Kami
1. Must gather all seven Dragon Balls.
2. Chant required (Come out, Shenlong, and grant my wish!).
3. Only one wish per summoning of Shenlong.
4. After the wish is made, Shenlong will disappear, the Dragon Balls will turn to stone and scatter themselves; they will remain stone for one year.
5. The Shenlong cannot grant any wishes that are beyond the powers of the creator of the Dragon Balls (Kami).
6. You can revive anyone or any group of people who fit a certain criteria, if they did not die of natural causes (like age).
7. If a person has been revived by Shenlong before, the person cannot be revived again.

Earth's Dragon Balls Revived - Dende
After Kami re-merged with Piccolo, Shenlong became no more and the Dragon Balls turned into stone. To revive the Dragon Balls, Goku invited Dende from Namek to be the new Kami. Dende was able to revise the rules and restrictions of Shenlong's power in the revival process and since he was younger and more powerful than Kami he expanded the abilities of the Dragon Balls

1. Must gather all seven Dragon Balls.
2. Chant required (Come out, Shenlong, and grant my wish!).
3. Only two wishes per summoning of Shenlong.
4. After the wishes are made, Shenlong will disappear, the Dragon Balls will turn to stone and scatter themselves; they will remain stone for one year.
5. If only one wish is made during the summon and the Dragon Balls turn to stone, they will remain stone for four months, and then Shenlong may be summoned again.
6. The Shenlong cannot grant any wishes that are beyond the powers of the creator of the Dragon Balls.
7. You can revive anyone or any group of people who fit a certain criteria, if they did not die of natural causes.
8. If a person has been revived by Shenlong before, the person cannot be revived again.

Planet Namek's "Orginal" Dragon Balls - Guru (Namek Ancient)
1. Must gather all seven Dragon Balls.
2. Chant required in the Namek language.
3. Wishes must be said in the Namek language.
4. Only three wishes per summoning of Puronga (Eternal Dragon of Namek).
5. After the wishes are made, Puronga will disappear, the Dragon Balls will turn to stone and scatter themselves; they will remain stone for 130 days.
6. Puronga cannot grant any wishes that are beyond the powers of the creator of the Dragon Balls.
7. You can revive anyone multiple times, as long as he/she did not die of natural causes.
8. You can only revive one person per wish.

NOTE: Dragon Balls of Namek are more powerful and much bigger than the ones on Earth

Planet Namek's Dragon Balls Revived - Eldest Namek
The Dragon Balls stayed the same with the Eldest namek as they were when in Guru's possession. This is because he was trained by Guru and understood the dragon Balls and all of their powers.

1. Must gather all seven Dragon Balls.
2. Chant required in the Namek language.
3. Wishes must be said in the Namek language.
4. Only three wishes per summoning of Puronga (Eternal Dragon of Namek).
5. After the wishes are made, Puronga will disappear, the Dragon Balls will turn to stone and scatter themselves; they will remain stone for 130 days.
6. Puronga cannot grant any wishes that are beyond the powers of the creator of the Dragon Balls.
7. You can revive anyone multiple times, as long as he/she did not die of natural causes.
8. You can only revive one person per wish.
Universal Black Star Dragon Balls - Child of Dragon Family (Old Piccolo and Kami before they split)

These dragon Balls were also created by Kami, but when he was very young and before he became god of earth.  This is when he was super-powerful before he split his good and evil sides to create the Old Piccolo and Old Kami. The Black Star Dragon Balls are much more powerful than the other types of dragon Balls though. They are orange with a black star in the center.

1. Must gather all seven Black Star Dragon Balls.
2. Chant required (Come out, Shenlong, and grant my wish!).
3. Only one wish per summoning of Shenlong but for ANYTHING you want.
4. Once the wish is made, they are scattered all around the universe.
5. Once they are scattered around the universe, you have 1 year to retrieve them again otherwise they will blow up and destroy the planet that the wish was made on.
